Wow, we had an all around wonderful experience with The Chocolate Rose Cake Shoppe! The cake tasting was so much fun, and delicious! Vanessa's cake flavors are so unique and tasty, which made it quite difficult to choose! We ended up choosing 2 flavors for our wedding cake and our guests were raving about them! Vanessa was so great and easy to work with. She truly has a passion for what she does and cares for the happiness of her customers. Our wedding cake was GORGEOUS and we couldn't have been happier. We love that for our one year anniversary, Vanessa has an option where she gives you a new top layer of your cake, instead of freezing the one from your wedding day. She cares about your experience and wants you to have a fresh cake to celebrate your anniversary. We can't wait to have another bite of Vanessa's delicious cakes!

Your search for a wedding cake vendor should begin and end with The Chocolate Rose. We had spent a lot of time looking for wedding cake options. Vanessa's cake not only looked beautiful but tasted unbelievable. There wasn't a piece left. From the initial tasting, to the design, and final delivery Vanessa was spectacular. She took the time to listen to what we were looking for, gave us many options, and came through from start to finish. People that were at the wedding are still commenting on how wonderful the cake was. Excellent value, excellent service, excellent product.

Vanessa consulted with the bride and groom on the wedding cake design. She wanted to understand their style and preferences so the cake would be exactly what they wanted. Vanessa gave us a choice of 4 designs, each in line with our conversations but each with a unique flair. The designs were all beautiful, so it was hard to pick one! Vanessa invited us to a tasting of multiple flavors for the cake. Again, it was hard to choose because all were delicious. Vanessa was flexible and we were able to use different flavors in the different tiers. Working with Vanessa was a pleasure.

Vanessa did an incredible job on our wedding cake. We showed her a picture of something we liked and she gave us exactly what we wanted and more. Our cake was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked! We had strawberry and cookies and cream filling (for the child in my husband)..both layers were to die for. The last thing a bride needs is added stress over cake- The process was quick and simple- we met with Vanessa just once for a tasting and to discuss design ideas. I would highly recommend her services!

I used Vanessa for both my bridal shower and wedding. Both cakes were delicious and she really captured the moments, my personality, and style! Everyone at our wedding raved about the design and taste of our cake! I could not be more thrilled with the outcome. I will be using Vanessa and The Chocolate Rose in the future!

From the amazing cake tasting to the cake designs and my bazillion changes, Vanessa was so easy and accommodating to work with during our wedding planning! I loved that the flavor choices weren't just the typical vanilla and chocolate that have been done over and over again. Our Fireside flavored cake was perfection and worked in perfectly with our S'mores theme. I cannot wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can taste it again! I have recommended Vanessa and The Chocolate Rose to everyone I know because they will not be disappointed!

From the start, I knew Vanessa knew her desserts! But would they taste as good as they sounded? BETTER! She made working and planning so easy for us. She paid so much attention to detail and made our dessert table come to life! The traffic jam in front of her table all night speaks for itself! We had such a great experience with The Chocolate Rose. She has so many cake flavors and we got to taste whichever ones we wanted and the sample size was huge! And we got to keep the leftovers! All of the favors were absolutely delicious. She created a beautiful wedding cake for our wedding. I will definitely contact The Chocolate Rose for any of our cake or bakery needs in the future.

Vanessa was a pleasure to work with and had great ideas to incorporate her desserts into the party theme ( it was a rehearsal dinner with a nautical theme). Vanessa made beautiful nautical decorations to match the theme. Her details were impeccable and her baking skills were awesome. All our guests raved about the dessert display and the desserts themselves.

The Chocolate Rose came highly recommended to me by the Popponeseset Inn, and what a great recommendation it was! We began planning our Cape Cod wedding from half way across the country, which was not an easy task, and Vanessa immediately put us at ease. She was informative, helpful, and extremely kind. We were impressed with her experience and knowledge in the "industry." She is truly an artist who helped create a gorgeous, unique, and tasty cake that exceeded our expectations. She even made a yummy gluten free cake for guests who had a GF allergy. I recommend Vanessa without reservation!

We originally had a tasting at a large, well-known catering company that our wedding venue suggested working with but I didn't feel that the product was very tasty or that they really cared if we selected them or not. After googling other options I was lucky enough to find The Chocolate Rose. Our cake tasting with Vanessa was very personalized and you could tell that she really cared about our vision for the wedding cake and especially about the finished product. From day 1 she was incredibly responsive and professional - not to mention the cake was DELICIOUS. I was so happy with the finished product and would highly recommend Vanessa to all of my friends & family planning events down the Cape.

Vanessa was phenomenal to work with. She is incredibly passionate about her business - from the design of the wedding cake to the taste - she 100% knows desserts. After meeting her in person, I became more and more excited about our wedding cake and our surprise dessert table because she was incredibly invested in every detail of our wedding. Vanessa wanted to ensure that the deisgn of the cake and desserts tied in perfectly to the theme of our wedding. The cake was beyond gorgeous (tasted insanely delicious!) and the dessert table was everything I could have imagined. Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting our vision to life!

Our wedding cake was a delicious work of art! We couldn't have been happier with how it came out! Vanessa was a pleasure to work with from the start. She was warm and welcoming when we met her at our tasting and seemed so excited about our wedding cake vision. She even worked with our florist to design a beautiful flower arrangement cascading down our cake. My husband is not big on sweets and he absolutely loved our cake. The flavors we chose were all wonderful. Many of our guests complimented our cake too. Thank you Chocolate Rose for such a delicious, beautiful, wedding cake! It made our special day complete!

I asked Vanessa last minute if she could make a naked Carrot cake for my daughters Oct. 1 wedding and deliver it. We had booked a baker back in May but she could not deliver it!! We would have had to drive 90 minutes with a wedding cake in our car! We cancelled her and Vanessa could not have been nicer. Her cake was not just beautiful but I never tasted a more delicious carrot cake. There was not 1 piece left!! Thanks Vanessa! We will use you again.

I have to say that Vanessa did an amazing job with everything I asked for. All of my guests at the wedding raved over the cake and desserts and the quality and way it was displayed was more then I ever thought possible. Hats off to her and I would use her for any event that comes up in the future. Thank you for making my wedding that much more special!!!
